Abstract:
The researcher delved upon the endeavor to enhance the reading ability using “Computer Aided Instruction (CAI)” of the grade 2 pupils of Sta. Lucia South Central School in the District of Sta. Lucia for the school year 2020-2021.\r\n\r\nMoreover, a 20-item validated pre-test was administered to all the learners to gauge relevant data before the implementation of the intervention. Thus, it had been found out that The findings served as bases for the researcher to develop an intervention material which is Computer Aided Instruction (CAI).\r\n\r\nThe “CAI” was validated by the division personnel before it was distributed to the learners through an online platform for their utilization. The post-test was then administered to harness data to describe the learners’ level of reading ability after the implementation of CAI. Consequently, collected data illuminates that the performance of the participants in the post-test had significantly improved and can be described as Satisfacotry. Furthermore, after the employment of the T-test on the data, it showed that there is a significant difference in the learners’ tests which implies that the intervention is effective in enhancing the level reading ability of grade 2 pupils.
