Abstract:
This study assessed the level of engagement and extent of support mechanisms of instructional leaders and stakeholders of Cabaroan Elementary School, SY2019-2020. Descriptive-co relational research design was utilized. Total enumeration of eight (8) instructional leaders and 65 parents/stakeholders of CES served as respondents. Researcher-made questionnaire was used to gather data and frequency count, rank order, percentage, mean consequently Pearson r were used to treat the data. Findings of this study were the respondents were of varied profile; they are highly engaged, participating and active towards school activities, programs and projects making the learning environment responsive to the needs of the learners; and they reasonably supported the school’s activities and programs. Profile was not significantly correlated with their level of engagement. Level of engagement does not significantly correlate with their extent of support mechanism. Recommendations are as follows: 1) Respondents should participate in all the activities and programs of the school particularly in upgrading the quality of education; 2) encouragement to help provide instructional materials for learner’s use; 3) instructional leaders and the concerned stakeholders should remediate the low performance of the learners was suggested; and 4) provision of library holdings and technological gadgets needed by the school and institute projects and programs that can help influence positive learning outcomes.
