Abstract:
The primary goal of the Technical Vocational and Livelihood strand is to help students improve their knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values so that they are better equipped to succeed in college and in the workplace. For the school year 2019-2020, this research identified the most effective methods used by schools in Ilocos Sur\'s Schools Division that provide a Technical-Vocational Livelihood program. The researchers selected eight (8) TVL Subject Group Heads and TVL Coordinators of the Division of Ilocos Sur using purposive sampling design. The researchers employed a descriptive research to guide the researchers in conducting the study. Furthermore, the research relied on a questionnaire adopted in the study of Botacion (2019). The gathered data were analyzed using content analysis. The best practices in the TVL program execution were found in the areas of faculty, teaching, physical plant and facilities, and the library, according to the results. In the research, it is highly recommended that the plan of action for the TVL-public schools be executed. Moreover, Technical Vocational Livelihood Education should be a collaborative effort between TESDA and local government units (LGUs).
