Abstract:
In order to stay up with the rapidly changing global environment, many nations are improving their Science curricula. However, the lack of educational tools at the school is a widespread issue for teachers. This descriptive-developmental research was utilized to develop a Teaching Supplemental Material in Science 5 for Tagudin District for school year 2019-2020. Moreover, the study involved 760 Grade 5 learners in Tagudin District, SY 2019-2020 utilizing a questionnaire to find their level of performance and their strengths and weaknesses in Science. Further, the data collected were analysed using mean and rank. Significant findings revealed that the level of performance of the grade 5 learners in Science 5 is very satisfactory. In addition, a great number of topics were not mastered by the students. Correspondingly, there is a need for additional instructional materials to be used in teaching the subject.
