Abstract:
Effective learning takes place when students are exposed to quality instruction nurtured in a healthy school environment. The academe is a training ground for future professionals and leaders of the community, organizations and the country (Obrero, 2016). This investigation employed descriptive-developmental research design. It dealt with the assessment of at hand practices, development and validation of a Leadership Skills Training Design for Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) Advisers in Suyo District for school year 2017-2018. It involved the 20 Supreme Pupil Government Advisers of Suyo District. Total enumeration was employed. Frequency, percentage and mean quantified the results and bases for deep analysis. The findings of this study showed that the level of attainment of objectives of supreme pupil government in Suyo District was very highly attained, the implementation of the programs, projects and activities were very highly attained. The level of organization support mechanism was highly attained. The prevailing status of Supreme Pupil Government advisers posed needs in enhancing their current execution of roles and responsibilities. Thus, a leadership skills training design was crafted to address issues, gaps and concerns. The leadership skills training design for supreme pupil government advisers was appropriate and timely as established by the experts which will enhance the current practices of SPG advisers of Suyo District for School Year 2017-2018.
