Abstract:
Various issues confront basic education in the Department of Education, as shown by the fast transition of the educational system in the Philippines. The Department of Education faces a variety of challenges in the delivery of basic education. Education has become more global, and as a result, schools are being challenged to become more global. A localized video lesson approach was used to improve the conceptual understanding of grade 10 students on electromagnetism at Narvacan National Central High School for the school year 2019-2020, according to the findings of the research. It made use of a straightforward experimental research design, specifically a real experimental research design. A random sample approach was used to choose two sections of Grade 10 students from Narvacan National Central High School, and the students were chosen using this technique. The mean pre-test scores of the respondents were 10.06, whereas the mean post-test scores of the respondents were 22.50, according to the statistically significant results. Furthermore, there was a statistically significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores, as shown by a calculated t-test result of 10.771 at the.05 level of significance. In conclusion, localized video courses are beneficial in raising the achievement levels of students in Grade 10 science.
