Department of Education Regional Office I (DepEd RO-I) partners with Pangasinan State University (PSU) for the development of DepEd Region I Research Portal.
The finalization of the said portal was held at the DepEd ROI Executive Conference Hall on October 13, 2023.
Earlier, PSU President Dr. Elbert M. Galas and DepEd Regional Director Tolentino G. Aquino signed a Memorandum of Agreement forging the partnership, held in PSU Golden Lion Hotel, Lingayen, Pangasinan on September 28.
Other PSU officials present include Dr. Dexter R. Buted, Vice President for Administration and Linkages, Dr. Razeale G. Resultay, Vice President for Research, Extension, Innovation, and Gender and Development, Dr. Roy C. Ferrer, Director PSU Urdaneta Campus, Dr. Frederick F. Patacsil, Dean of College of Computing Science.
For DepEd, Dr. Cecilia P. Rosido, Chief Education Supervisor (CES) of Policy, Planning and Research Division (PPRD), Sarah Q. Casuga, CES of Education Support Services Division, and Dr. Leah L. Olua Education Program Supervisor joined RD Aquino.
Dr. Patacsil along with Leo Gabriel V. Villanueva and other faculty members presented their proposed portal and led the dry run before the PPRD personnel.
All 14 Division Information Technology Officers and Senior Education Program Specialists for Planning and Research will be oriented on the said portal to be held on November 8 to 10.
Said portal is targeted to be operational by 2024.
