Recipients of the Basic Education Research Fund (BERF) are chosen to present completed research studies in a research forum which is scheduled in five episodes this fiscal year along the thematic areas on Reading, Science, Mathematics, and Human Resource Development.
The first batch of the research forum was conducted on February 24 through fb live to showcase research studies anchored on the thematic area on Reading.
Spearheaded by the Policy, Planning and Research Division, the forum aims to promote utilization of research results for decision-making, program designing, and plan formulation, implementation and adjustment.
The forum also provides an avenue for DepEd offices to learn from results of research done and to promote continues learning experience for education leaders, researchers, policy makers, and educators.
The research presenters were Janice U. Abon of SDO-San Carlos City, Joy Caren R. Tablante of SDO-Ilocos Sur, Jovilory A. Filart of SDO-Vigan City, and Marian G. Campos of SDO- Dagupan City.
After the presentation, reactors who are experts on Reading have shared their comments. They are Education Program Supervisors Juner Windel M. Valdez from HRDD, Melisa G. del Prado from QAD, Johnson P. Sunga from CLMD and Joselito D. Daguison from CLMD.
A total of 662 employees registered prior to the activity. The actual forum has 833 viewers and to this date, there are already 8,576 views.
